Today we interview Adrián González Pérez, SAP Consultant at Grupo Inprosec. We hope you enjoy learning about his experience working at our company.
What is your role within Inprosec?
I currently hold the role of SAP Consultant at Inprosec, where I help protect systems through an approach based on corporate risk management. My work focuses on maintaining role models, as well as creating new solutions aimed at eliminating excessive access and mitigating risks associated with segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts and Critical Actions.
What would you highlight about your role within the company?
What I value most is the ability to transform clients’ business ideas into secure and functional access solutions.
What has Inprosec meant for your professional career?
My time at Inprosec has been a turning point in my professional development. I previously worked in the automotive sector, where I already had some exposure to SAP, but my experience here has allowed me to fully understand the importance of managing and restricting access. From an end-user perspective, it is common to seek the highest possible level of access without being fully aware of the risks this can entail. However, working in this environment has helped me understand how proper authorisation management is key to ensuring the security and protection of the organisation.
How do you manage to balance your personal and professional life?
The flexible working hours that Inprosec offers are, without doubt, one of its great differentiating values. Beyond being a benefit, it is part of an organisational culture that is committed to trust and personal autonomy. In my case, this flexibility has a direct impact on my quality of life, as it allows me to organise my time efficiently and balance my personal and professional responsibilities. This approach not only improves wellbeing, but also strengthens commitment and productivity, creating an environment in which you can truly give your best.
What do you value most about working for a company like Inprosec?
One of the aspects I value most is the dynamic nature of the environment, where constant contact with new people brings a fresh and enriching perspective. There is a very positive and collaborative atmosphere that facilitates integration and teamwork. In addition, being able to learn something new every day turns the experience into a continuous process of growth, keeping motivation high and fostering professional development.
Tell us about an anecdote that stood out to you during one of your stages at Inprosec.
Even before joining the company, I had already been in contact with part of the team, thanks to my participation in various industry events. This created a very positive initial connection that made both my onboarding and the adaptation process easier. Being able to join an environment where a certain level of trust already existed made the experience far smoother and more enriching than in other professional stages.
As an employee of a company specialising in cybersecurity, what is your advice for any entrepreneur starting out when it comes to their systems?
In an increasingly digital environment, cybersecurity has shifted from being an option to becoming a strategic pillar for any organisation, regardless of its sector. Integrating it from the very beginning not only protects assets and information, but also reinforces trust, reputation and business sustainability. Although it is a broad and constantly evolving field, having the support of specialised consultants makes the difference: it allows you to anticipate risks, implement best practices and build a solid foundation that drives the secure growth of the company.
What are your hobbies once the working day is over?
Once the working day is over, I am a lover of music and festivals. I also make the most of my free time to relax and enjoy video games every now and then.
Who do you “nominate” for us to interview next, and why?
I nominate Francisco Javier Coira, as he has worked across several departments and can offer a good overall view of the company.
