Last week, our Key Account Manager, Manuel Paderne, attended again one of the Obradoiros 4. 0 promoted by IGAPE in collaboration on this occasion with the CMD (Cluster de Madeira e o deseño de Galicia), organized and presented by Elige Plus Consultores, with Gerardo Estévez.
The topics addressed were related to improving the efficiency of the timber industry through virtual reality and digital twinning, as well as relying on technologies such as blockchain and the importance of cyber security in the factory.
One of the maxims of the Industry, is that the factory must not stop, between the keys is the protection of the information and the implanted systems, since a cyber attack on the same ones, could paralyze the production and cause that we do not fulfill the exigencies of our suppliers, clients and normative dispositions. To this end, several of our solutions in industrial cyber security were proposed, such as performing a diagnosis of the industrial control systems, developing an action plan for improvement and maintaining the defined safety level of the plant.
In addition, our solution, Inprotech Guardian, which helps to manage cyber attack alerts, was presented. With our specialized factory support function supported by this technology, it is the ideal way to respond to and meet two critical points; prevention and having a continuity plan in the event of any cybersecurity incident.
