On May 30, 31 and June 1 the AUSAPE 2023 Forum was held in Palma de Mallorca and was attended by Iago Fortes, Roi Fortes, Tamara Rivera and Yoel Rodriguez. After having attended the editions of Bilbao and Seville, this was the first time we attended with a stand, where we could share with the rest of the attendees our SAP Security and SAP GRC services.
DAY 1
After the arrival by plane to Palma, and after passing through the hotels, the opening of the event was held in a well known Beach Club on the island, where there was a brief introduction of the event and the first talk, with the theme of persuasion keys “Think Tank” with Alba Alonso, Marta Garcia and Yurena Sanchez where they touched on various topics such as cookies or the RGPD, followed by a funny monologue by Patricia Galvan. After this, it was time for networking during dinner, with several customers, suppliers and partners.
DAY 2
On this day, the event began at the Palacio de Congresos de Palma de Mallorca, where the Inprosec team had time to prepare the stand where throughout the day they attended to all those interested in SAP security and SAP GRC. In parallel, the presentations began, after the inauguration by Joan Torres, president of AUSAPE, where he highlighted some data such as the attendance of 1100 people, from 450 companies. Surpassing last year’s attendance, which was around 800 attendees.
While the day was taking place, the team was able to visit some stands such as CUVIV or T-Systems, partners and customers respectively, where the relationship continued, this time in a more face-to-face way. There was also the opportunity to attend some presentations before lunch and in the afternoon. After a busy afternoon at the stand, the team returned to the hotel and strolled through the streets of Palma, taking the opportunity to get to know the city a little better.
The agenda continued with dinner at House of sonAmar, where there were different shows, such as regional dances, fireworks, water, light and sound show, and a dance with “fire-eaters”, all this with the opportunity to enjoy the good weather of the island and networking. Afterwards, we moved on to dinner, held inside the venue, where the annual awards were presented by the organization and where the AUSAPE management had the opportunity to thank all attendees for their participation and the smooth running of the event.
DAY 3
On the last day, the agenda was marked by the theme of “Technological Persuasion” which materialized with the round table “Ethical, social and labor vision of technological persuasion” in which Manuel Navarro, Alex Barange, Juan Antonio Puig and Monica Utrera participated. In addition, in addition to more parallel presentations with different topics in the SAP world. After that, the day was closed with the closing talk of the event where again all the attendees were thanked for their presence and after the lunch-networking, this AUSAPE 2023 Forum ended.
In summary, despite having attended all the post-pandemic Forums, this was undoubtedly the most important for Inprosec, where we have had a more active presence with a stand and 4 attendees from Inprosec. Accompanying the growth of our activity, we have been able to see the increasing concern for SAP security and SAP GRC of the SAP community in Spain.
