Today we interview Almudena Iglesias, member of our backoffice team. We hope you get to know about his experience working at our company.
What is your role at Inprosec?
I belong to the Finance and Human Resources Department. Currently, I am more focused on the people area, where I carry out different tasks such as payroll accounting, administrative management of personnel (new hires and terminations, employee leaves), handling incidents and queries, among others.
What would you highlight about your role in the company?
Some of the tasks I am responsible for are cross-functional, which allows me to stay in touch with different departments.
What has Inprosec meant for your professional career?
It has solidified my place in the technology sector, expanding my knowledge in cybersecurity. Inprosec gives me the opportunity to receive continuous training and work with specialized professionals.
How do you manage to balance personal and professional life?
The hybrid and flexible schedule that Inprosec provides is my main tool for balancing personal and professional life on a daily basis.
What do you value most about working at a company like Inprosec?
From my point of view, the work-life balance measures are a great benefit. I am the mother of two children, and since I started at this company, I have been given all kinds of support to help me balance work and family.
I would also highlight the company’s commitment to employee training and professional development.
Tell us an anecdote that stood out to you during your time at Inprosec.
This is a bit embarrassing to share, but here it goes… hahaha. One day I answered a phone call and was asked about a colleague who no longer worked at the company. I replied, “He is no longer with us,” and immediately everyone around me burst out laughing (they couldn’t stop). The caller was speechless, and I had to hold it together, then quickly corrected myself and resolved the situation.
As an employee of a cybersecurity-focused company, what advice would you give to any entrepreneur starting out regarding their systems?
Cybercrime is a real threat today, and any company must be prepared for this kind of risk. It is essential to have a specialized company that ensures the security of their interests.
What are your hobbies after the workday?
Staying active with a regular workout routine and spending time with family and friends.
