On May 30, 31, and June 1, the AUSAPE Forum 2023 was held in Palma de Mallorca, attended by Iago Fortes, Roi Fortes, Tamara Rivera, and Yoel Rodríguez. After attending the editions in Bilbao and Seville, this was the first time we attended with a stand, where we were able to share our services in SAP Security and SAP GRC with other attendees.
DAY 1
After arriving by plane in Palma, and after checking into the hotels, the event opening took place at a well-known Beach Club on the island, where there was a brief event introduction and the first talk, on the theme of keys to persuasion “Think Tank” with Alba Alonso, Marta García, and Yurena Sánchez, covering various topics such as cookies or GDPR, followed by a fun monologue by Patricia Galván. After this, there was time for networking during dinner, with various clients, suppliers, and partners.
DAY 2
On this day, the event started at the Palacio de Congresos in Palma de Mallorca, where the Inprosec team had time to prepare the stand to attend to all those interested in SAP security and SAP GRC. In parallel, the presentations began, after the inauguration by Joan Torres, president of AUSAPE, where he highlighted some data like the attendance of 1100 people, from 450 companies. Surpassing last year’s attendance, which was around 800 attendees.
As the day progressed, the team visited some stands like CUVIV or T-Systems, partners, and clients respectively, where the relationship continued, this time in a more physical manner. There was also the opportunity to attend some presentations before lunch and in the afternoon. After a busy afternoon at the stand, the team returned to the hotel, walking through the streets of Palma and taking the opportunity to learn more about the city.
The agenda continued with dinner at the House of SonAmar, where there were various shows, such as regional dances, fireworks, a water, light, and sound show, and a dance with “fire eaters,” all with the opportunity to enjoy the good weather of the island and networking. Subsequently, we moved to the dinner, held inside the venue, where the annual awards were given by the organization and where the AUSAPE management had the opportunity to thank all the attendees for their participation and good development of the event.
DAY 3
On the last day, the agenda was marked by the theme of “Technological Persuasion” which materialized with the roundtable “Ethical, Social, and Labor Vision of Technological Persuasion” in which Manuel Navarro, Alex Barange, Juan Antonio Puig, and Mónica Utrera participated. In addition, there were more parallel presentations with different themes in the SAP world. After this, the event closed with the closing talk where once again all attendees were thanked for their presence and after the networking lunch, this AUSAPE Forum 2023 ended.
In summary, despite having attended all the Forums post-pandemic, this one has undoubtedly been the most important for Inprosec, where we have had a more active presence with a stand and 4 attendees from Inprosec. Accompanying the growth of our activity, we have been able to verify the, increasing concern for SAP security and SAP GRC in the SAP community in Spain.
