According to the report published by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HP) the main cybertreaths that companies had to face over the past year 2015 were related to: the use of both Android and iOS apps, software vulnerabilities exploitation and malware attacks.
Among these threats, the report highlights the evolution experienced by malware threats, which were less numerous in 2015 but more adapted to emerging business trends. It also highlights the rising of a new model of cyberthreat: the ransomware.
The report also includes some piece of advice in order to mitigate the risk associated with those cyberthreats. Some on them are: a better information of the users about the implications of software installation, to backup company information and data with an accurate level of security according to the kind of information which is being protected.
