vulnerabilities and attacks.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><b><i>System Recommendation<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is directly connected to <\/span><b><i>SAP Support<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to download the necessary security notes and monitor the status of those implemented in systems through background jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" Manager<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Configuration<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main requirements to use <\/span><b><i>System Recommendation<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connect SAP systems with <\/span><b><i>Solution Manager<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enable <\/span><b><i>System Recommendations<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for each system (point 5 of system configuration).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Schedule the job for collecting information on notes and patches (AGSNO_RPT_COLLECT_DATA).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Recommended Notes Categories<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main categories of notes reported by the application are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Security Notes<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: This is the most important category where the notes from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.sap.com\/en\/my-support\/knowledge-base\/security-notes-news.html?anchorId=section_370125364\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SAP Security Patch Day<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are reflected, being SAP&#8217;s recommendations on actions and relevant patches for system security. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Other types of notes<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: <\/span><b><i>Hot News<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (updates), <\/span><b><i>Performance Notes<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (performance improvements), <\/span><b><i>Legal Change Notes<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (legal requirements) and <\/span><b><i>License Audit Notes<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (licensing).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Interface and Functionality<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: Management (Charm)<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the most interesting functionalities of <\/span><b><i>System Recommendation<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is its integration with ChaRM (<\/span><b><i>Change Request Management<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), which allows for the creation of change requests to import notes into all selected systems, as well as using the <\/span><b><i>Change Impact Analysis<\/i><\/b><b> functionality, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which enables automatic evaluation of the effects of the change on style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This functionality allows closing the change management cycle related to notes and patches, as it covers everything from their publication by SAP, introducing the possibility of automating the process and controlling the system modification process in a single scenario.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the notes are implemented, they will disappear from the list of pending notes to be implemented. If one does not want or cannot carry out the implementation of them, it is also possible to update their status so they are no longer counted in the list of pending notes to be implemented.
