What is your role within Inprosec?<\/strong><\/h3>\nMy position within the company is SAP & GRC Security Consultant<\/strong>. I am a senior consultant in one of the GRC support services, part of the BRM service for one of our main clients, and I also collaborate on projects, especially related to RMR (Role Model Reengineering).<\/p>\nWhat would you highlight about your functions within the company?<\/strong><\/h3>\nThe most important aspect is the wide variety of areas<\/strong> through which you can develop. Undoubtedly, the diversity of projects<\/strong> in which you can be involved and apply everything you’ve learned is one of the most relevant points when solidifying acquired knowledge.<\/p>\nBeing in a service role involves direct and continuous contact with end-users, which offers the opportunity to learn and seek alternatives and solutions to emerging problems.<\/p>\n
What has Inprosec meant in your professional career?<\/h3>\n
It has been a small turning point and a moment of reflection. At first, I had doubts: how could I enter a world about which I knew so little? What could I bring to a company like Inprosec? However, thanks to some colleagues who were familiar with the company and \u00c1lvaro Gomes, I decided to give Inprosec a chance. It would undoubtedly be an experience, and if I didn’t feel comfortable, I would always have other opportunities elsewhere. In the end, after almost a year, I believe it was the best decision I made.<\/p>\n
How do you manage to reconcile personal and professional life?<\/strong><\/h3>\nThe facilities provided by the company are incredible. Perhaps, from the inside, we may not notice it as much, but whenever I talk to friends and acquaintances and explain that I have a flexible schedule and work from home on certain days, many find it hard to believe. I think the facilities provided by the company are things that everyone would wish to have in their job.<\/p>\n
What do you value most about working at a company like Inprosec?<\/h3>\n
From the beginning, I have felt valued and heard. I remember the first time I came up with an idea to automate one of the tasks I was assigned; they gave me the freedom to conduct the necessary tests to verify that the proposal was correct.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, I believe that Inprosec provides many more opportunities for professional development<\/strong>. Here, you can take on responsibilities much earlier, as the process of evolution and training is much faster, allowing you to participate and apply everything you’ve learned.<\/p>\nTell us an anecdote that has caught your attention in a situation in a stage in Inprosec<\/strong><\/h3>\nIn the early days at Inprosec, most of the time was devoted to training<\/strong>, getting acquainted with SAP, and learning completely new concepts. I remember the first few times when I heard these concepts and took notes; I wanted to try and memorize everything, but having a mental map of so much information was very difficult. Barely a year later, I find it amusing to remember that everything that sounded like “Chinese” to me is now part of my daily routine.<\/p>\nAs an employee of a company specializing in cybersecurity, what is your advice to any entrepreneur who is just starting out regarding their systems?<\/strong><\/h3>\nI believe that every company should prioritize information security<\/strong> as one of its pillars. We are increasingly aware of the implications of a security incident and the potential exposure of sensitive data. That’s why we must treat data, whether it’s our own or our clients’, with the utmost care.<\/p>\nWhat are your hobbies <\/em>at the end of the working day?<\/strong><\/h3>\nIn general, I love sports. After my workday, I go to the gym, and on weekends, I enjoy being a spectator, whether it’s football or MotoGP or F1 races. I also love spending time in nature, taking walks, and enjoying the landscapes.<\/p>\n
