What is your role at Inprosec?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I am currently the Head of the SAP Business Line Department.<\/p>\n

What would you highlight about your role within the company?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We have a year with many challenges within the area, from the formalization of products to facilitate the learning of employees who join the team, such as the implementation of R & D initiatives for the SAP Department. At the same time, we are going to invest heavily in updating and improving the Laboratory, which will help us a lot in the R&D area I mentioned earlier.<\/p>\n

What has Inprosec meant to your professional career?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I really believe that joining this team has been the best decision of my professional life without a doubt. Inprosec provides me with everything I need from a professional point of view: challenges, responsibilities, decision making, a fantastic team of colleagues with whom you learn something every day. . .<\/p>\n

How do you manage to balance personal and professional life?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In this respect, Inprosec gives me a lot of facilities. I have the option of working from home, although I only use it when I have to spend many hours on a task. A flexible schedule allows me to reconcile family and professional life, so if I need to be out of work in the morning, the company does not prevent me from doing so. I believe that the human side of Inprosec is taken care of on a day-to-day basis.<\/p>\n

What do you value most about working at a company like Inprosec?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The challenges, the satisfaction of a job well done, the appreciation of the whole team of colleagues, if you have a problem you always have someone to lend a hand and of course the Friday breakfasts!<\/p>\n

Tell us an anecdote that stood out to you during your time at Inprosec.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I’ve been with this company for more than 9 years and I have a lot of funny anecdotes, however, spinning with the theme of the human side, when I was a newcomer I made a pretty serious mistake in one of the few clients we had at that time and Iago, the company’s CEO, focused more on making me understand what I had done wrong so that I could correct it than on giving me a hard time about the “shit” I had done.<\/p>\n

As an employee of a cybersecurity-focused company, what advice would you give to any entrepreneur starting out regarding their systems?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I think I’m gonna pull a story from a couple weeks ago. I was with my partner looking for some pictures from a trip to Prague we made a couple of years ago and unfortunately there were only about 20 pictures. My partner told me it was impossible and that we had taken out a lot more. I knew I had a backup and when I went to check it out, there was nothing! I had lost the photos, however, I knew that I had made a second backup in case the flies were there and finally they were there. I know it’s a simple example, but taking it to the business level, think of the hours spent on dozens of key files and systems, believing that you have a backup and that when you really need it, it doesn’t work!<\/p>\n

What are your hobbies after the workday?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It depends on the day, if it rains, then it’s standard time and a blanket on the sofa. Other days I go to the gym to let off some steam. In the summer, a night walk with the boss playing \u201cPokemon Go”.<\/p>\n

Who do you \u201cnominate\u201d for us to interview next and why?<\/strong><\/h3>\n
