On 6 and 7 of march, we have been into the SAP for internal Controls, Compliance and Risk Management Conference<\/strong>, presented by TAC Insights<\/a>, based in Brussels, Belgium.<\/p>\n

In our commitment to keep us up to date the latest news in SAP solutions, Iago Fortes Caram\u00e9s , David Torres Izquierdo, In\u00e9s Lamas Aranguera and Jos\u00e9 Gonzalez L\u00e1zare attended as part of our team during the event days.<\/p>\n

This event brought together a rich and diverse ecosystem of SAP users, partners, and solution expert to address SAP’s GRC and cyber security portfolio in a practical business-centric context.<\/p>\n

The SAP for Internal Controls, Compliance and Risk Management conferences were also embedding the program from SAP for Security and Data Protection event.<\/strong>\u00a0 We were able to move across both tracks, to learn in depth about topics presented by SAP customers, partners, and SAP solutions management experts.<\/p>\n

Highlights of our attendance<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In this event, there were more than 140 people from 65 different companies, representing 20 different countries<\/strong>. Half og the 65 companies are SAP customers and 10 partners.<\/p>\n

This event was a good opportunity for networking (with the manufacturer, partners and customers), we were able to hear success stories of customers using SAP platforms, and to discover new trends in the market.<\/p>\n

On the new developments presented by SAP, the end of maintenance of several NetWeaver technologies for 2027<\/strong> (Identity Management, Single Sign-On and Solution Manager) was recalled and alternatives\/substitutes were indicated. The most relevant aspect is that in Q1 of 2026 the new version of SAP GRC<\/strong> is expected to be published, in which the aim is to unify the tools of the GRC suite in a single product, and they have presented an alliance with Microsoft to integrate SAP platforms with Microsoft’s identity manager. It was on the second day of the event, that we were able to attend the round tables with SAP experts and each of the companies that presented their success stories.<\/p>\n

The success stories<\/strong> presented at this event were very relevant. We were able to see what large companies such as BP, Shell, Heineken, Maersk, Sanofi, E.ON, GSK, L’Or\u00e9al, Burberry, Merk or National Grid are doing, where projects on access management, role redesign, risk management and cybersecurity were highlighted.<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In conclusion, it was a good opportunity for us to continue relationships with some partners and to meet potential and future collaborators, as well as to identify specific needs of clients with whom we can collaborate. We have gained visibility and we have networked with interesting international companies.<\/p>\n
